90's Kid Shows
Ok, so if I can't choose to be a 20-something in the 90's, then I'm at least glad I got to be a kid in the 90's. After all, the 90's was good all around, it was the best time to be a 20-something as well as a kid, and we had all the best kids shows in the 90's too. Nostalgia for those of you around my age, and for those older, here's how great we had it. Before stupid shows like Hanna Montanna, we had shows like Kablam, All That, Pepper Ann, Rocko's Modern Life, Recess, Kenan and Kel, Doug, Hey Arnold!, The Amanda Show, Ahh! Real Monsters, Are You Afraid of the Dark?, Animaniacs!, Pinky and the Brain, Clarissa Explains it All, Catdog, Ren and Stimpy, The Wild Thornberries, Pelswick, Angry Beavers, Rugrats, Freakazoid, Cousin Skeeter, Sister Sister, Smart Guy, Bill Nye the Science Guy, Eddie Good Deeds, Wishbone, Spongebob.
I always loved the guitar driven theme of Pepper Ann, and it was one of the few shows that had a female lead.
All That was the best kids show, and we're so cool , a few of our kids shows theme songs were played by cool musicians of that time. Theme by TLC
Theme by Coolio, he's even in the intro
The B52s did this one.
I always loved this show too.
I always thought Debbie Thornberry was so cool. No wonder, the flannel shirt, crop top, ripped jeans, boots, she's a total 90's teen.
So thank god TeenNick is bringing back the 90's with their "90s Are All That"http://90sareallthat.teennick.com/ thing where they play 90s kids shows from midnight Eastern Time to 4 am Eastern Time.
